Advent

National Package is a case study given out by Advent, a large cap private equity firm that invests across the Americas, Europe and Asia.

The case study is composed of two sections: (1) a 40-minute modeling exam and (2) a 20-minute verbal case study. The modeling exam is solely designed to test your abilities to quickly create a two-statement LBO model as the case comes with detailed projections and assumptions that it wants you to follow. The verbal case study contains questions about what you believe the most attractive characteristics of National Package are, what two drivers you'd focus on if you were the CEO, among others.
