Boilerplate LBO is a case study given out by Apax, a global private equity firm.

This case study is called Boilerplate for a reason, it consists of a modeling template and provides two hours to complete a three statement LBO model. The assumptions are all simplistic in nature and there isn't anything that is trying to trick you. In spite of its simplicity, this case is good practice for those seeking to refine their ability to complete template based tests, which can actually be trickier than modeling from scratch due to non-familiarity with how everything is laid out.
