Overview
The Weed-Out Tests are case studies given out by General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm.
This case study includes two discrete sections: (1) a written test and (2) a modeling exam. The written test is basic and focuses on your ability to answer questions on investment concepts. Similarly, the modeling exam is straightforward, as it just requires you to fill out a single statement pre-made template to calculate the returns on a hypothetical investment (very similar to a paper LBO).
